ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — Archi Marrapu is a junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology and founded a non-profit, StemifyGirls.

She has been an advocate for young people getting involved in STEM for the past several years. The goal for her non-profit is to get more girls and children of color interested in STEM.

Archi is a rising freshman at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology and is a STEM student specifically interested in the fields of technology and medicine. In the field of technology, she is especially interested in Artificial Intelligence and is fluent in multiple programming languages She has been interested in programming from a young age and has taken many courses, classes, and competitions.
