Founder and President
“Hey there! I’m Archi Marrapu, the Founder & President of STEMifyGirls. Currently, I’m a sophomore at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, with a keen interest in the fields of technology and medicine. My passion lies in utilizing Artificial Intelligence to enhance the medical and healthcare industries. Through various projects, I’ve applied concepts of technology, medicine, and engineering to address real-world challenges. Beyond my academic pursuits, I actively volunteer and advocate for STEM, especially for females and minority cultures. I’ve had the privilege of being invited to multiple STEM promotion and women empowerment events, where I lead by example and inspire children to explore their potential. I’m driven by the desire to make a positive impact and create opportunities for underrepresented groups in STEM. By bridging the gender and cultural gaps, I aim to foster a more inclusive and diverse environment. Together, let’s empower the next generation to embrace STEM and make a difference in the world!”
Co-Founder
“Hi there! I’m Anisha, a 10-year-old rising 6th grader and co-founder of STEMifyGirls. I’m incredibly passionate about advocating for STEM education for girls. Through STEMifyGirls, my mission is to empower girls to follow their passions in STEM, challenge stereotypes, and foster inclusivity. I’m dedicated to creating a more equitable and diverse future. But that’s not all! I’m also a strong advocate for breaking mental health stigma. I firmly believe in the importance of addressing mental health challenges and providing support to those in need. As a compassionate and innovative young leader, I’m committed to making a difference in this area. One of my notable achievements is the creation of a low-cost EEG device that utilizes Artificial Intelligence. This incredible invention can detect common mental health disorders. It’s a testament to my deep understanding of the intersection between technology and mental health. By developing this device, I hope to contribute to early detection and intervention, ultimately improving the lives of those affected by mental health challenges. I’m excited about the journey ahead and the positive impact we can make together. Let’s work towards promoting gender equality in STEM and breaking the stigma around mental health. Together, we can create a brighter and more inclusive future for everyone!”
